I like the non-headband one the best. They both look great, but headbands always hurt my head after a while, which is why I picked the non-headband one :)
I like the look of the headband one better, but if it bothers you (like toothfairyb, the headbands hurt me) then he one without looks nice too.
I think the one without the headband looks best on you. IMO, something about the headband takes away from the delicateness of the birdcage veil
They both look great. I am also not a headband person. They either hurt my head or fall off, so I would say the non-headband one. They both look great on you though, so whichever one you choose, it will be the right one :-)
I think the veil looks much more delicate and ethreal with out the headband, and overall is a softer look. I think your FI will be happy with whatever option you choose :)
Too hard to choose! they booth look REALLY nice! I have hair shorter than yours and will be wearing a birdcage too, and one of the issues for me is finding a hair flower of 'thing' that is light enough not to weight my do down, but has a study enough clip to stay in! Hence a headband is a very good idea :-)
HOWEVER, I am going with a non headband option, much like your non headband look, as I want to be able to take the veil off and keep the flower on...
Just something to consider!

So I've tried to make two birdcage veils and would like to know if either of them look good enough to wear on my wedding day or should I keep trying?
One is with a headband and one is without a headband. My hair is going to have much more volume in the back and along the sides for the day of. SO I will try to hide the end under my top hair layer.
