Whoa! :) Where did they all come frome? I've heard of traditions where children get four names (mine will!), but this is longer than most. ;) Would love to hear the story!
I have a friend named "Anna Louise Squire Welch" and another Named Sarah who is foregin, but idr her really REALLY long name. I know it's not hawaiian but I think it's loosley related. It's like Maleasara something something somethin taluaki, I think.

I have 4 names (2 middle names). In total, my full name is 26 letters. I've always loved it. I've never been teased, but now that I'm living in Korea, it does cause me some problems because many people don't understand Western name structure. My biggest problem here is that I have a Scottish 'Mc' name, and everyone seems to think my last name is just 'Mac' (ie. ..not my real name but Jane Mac instead of Jane McDonald). My godsister has 6 names (37 letters, 3 middle names, and 2 family names), and she loves her name too.

I have four names, and my kids probably will too :) My first name is 10 letters long, yipes!
My sister has two middle names, but it's only because my parents couldn't agree on her name. My mom picked one middle name and my dad picked the other. It was a compromise, I guess. We have a pretty short last name, but I assume we'll still probably only give our kids one first and one middle name.
My fiance has 4 names and all of them have 7 letters each. Long names are cool! Jarome Iginla's (Calgary Flames hockey player) full name is:
Jarome Arthur-Leigh Adekunle Tig Junior Elvis Iginla

I've got five myself, all but one is highly unusual. Nobody can spell or pronounce my name at all and worse: my name originally came with an apostrophe (a real one, not a for show one to add quirkiness), which I've dropped in the interests of having the doctor's office find my file when I show up. No one, and I mean no one, can file an apostrophe. It's a nightmare.
My grandmother is german and she has 5 names... I forget them all though. She goes by Ehren - but the real name is Ehrentraud.... along with 4 others :)
My hubby has 2 middle names... but he never uses the second one. He doesn't even know how to spell it without looking it up :) So I would say he is not a fan. Or he's just lazy!
Not me, but my best friend growing up had 3 middle names. I think it's interesting, probably because my name is so boring.
My FI has two middle names, one is after his grandfather, and the other is after an obscure constellation (hippie parents!). His first name is also very unique. So, four names total for him!
Yes! My birth name has four names (Peyton H******* N***** L********). I used to get made fun of all the time, but it's fine now! Yet another reason why I didn't take my husband's last name - I didn't want to drop the others (they are family names - and the N***** name I share with my father and my daughter).

Does anyone here have long birthnames? Maybe more than 3? I was just wondering as I was thinking of my own. Do you like your names? Do you wish yours were shorter or not as many? Kids used to tease me all the time for having so many names. I love my names and besides using Rosie instead of Rosanna most of the time, I wouldn't change a name at all. My partner, Caytlin is taking my last name.

Swedish tradition with 4 or more names. Markusdotter is named for my dad and I. Markus being my dad and dotter means daughter.
