@MrsMagnus:  I’m sorry! It seems like there might not be any polite way to “univite” them. Could you tell him to tell them you’d decided to spend your b-day just the two of you? And then maybe get together with your friends another day?

@MrsMagnus:  I think you are totally right to be upset. This is your birthday, you should have gotten to invite who you want. Have you brought up your concerns with your husband And explained that you had other plans for your birthday? I’m curious as to what he sAid/says. Surely he understands that hosting all your inlaws is not relaxing at all? And that it would make sense if it were his birthday, but its your birthday.

@MrsMagnus:  Yeah, it seems really unfair of him to use your birthday to show off his new game system. Maybe invent another comittment, so he can still have htem over but you’ll be out with your friends or something like that?
