- Wedding: January 2015
My wedding will be in January and after going back and fourth I decided my colors are black and gold (white and gold/champagne was the other option). I have already purchased “Champagne” colored rosette linens for the sweetheart table and dessert table. Now that I am going with black satin linen as my main color I’m thinking it might look funny to have different color linens then the guests tables. Before when I was going with white linens it would not have been that big of a contrast. I know it’s not that huge of a deal but I keep seeing reception pictures where all the linens are the same. Maybe use gold/ champage runners over the black satin to tie it all in? I’m also thinking that even the contrast between champage and black is too much and I should buy gold rosette linens. I’m going for a romantic/dramatic evening look and I want colors to flow well and not look choppy (if that makes sense). I’ve only spend about $120 on the champage linens so it wouldn’t be a huge loss and I might be able to sell them.
Here are some pics your opinions appreciated!
The look I’m going for except rosette linens in place of the sequins for a more romantic feel.
