Hello! I took my bridesmaids dress shopping yesterday to show them one I was 98% sure I loved. They all thought the dress was really cute. It was an orange halter that would flatter everyone in my party. Measurements were taken. As we were walking out, my cousin saw a dress she wanted to come back and by for a couple weddings she was going to in the near future. I was floored! I fell in LOVE last minute with a dress that was the complete OPPOSITE of the one we went there for. The “new” dress is simple, modern, and fits perfectly with my July 2011 ZOO outdoor wedding! The print is black and cream. My flowers are fuschia, orange, and yellow gerbera daisies. I think the flowers are going to “pop” so much more with the dresses being black and cream. Where as before, they would have been “lost” up against the orange dress. Anyway, my real question is: Has anyone picked a print dress for their bridesmaids? If so, I’d love to get opinions/pictures. I’ve copied a link that will take you to the dress. Please click on it! (it’s in black and cream, though). Thanks!!!!! Happy planning 🙂

I didn’t pick a patterned dress, but I really think that would be beautiful with bright flowers for a fun, modern wedding! It definitely won’t look like every other BM dress that everyone has seen before, which I think is a good thing!

I think those would be very fun and they will go with your venue without going too far!

I think that dress is very trendy, yet classy enough for a wedding. It looks really nice.

I think both Mrs Stiletto and Mrs Spaniel had their bridesmaids in black and white printed dresses, you can check out their posts to see what it looks like but I think it will be beautiful!

I love love love this dress by Liz Fields!
I was just about ready to have my girls order it when my fiance told me he thinks it wouldn’t be as classy as a solid color. So now I’m in the process of trying to decide whether to pick a new dress or ignore him and get it anyways – because I think its fun and modern and different!
Oh and I am using gerber daisies as well – bright yellow ones :o)

my girls wore floral printed dresses. it doesn’t help with your flower thoughts though b/c my dresses were so bright, the flowers kind of blend in.
