What about incorporating silhouettes into the decor. They're classy and maybe you can get them done of the bride and groom or important family members or something.

We're doing black and white! Although, we are most certainly not using damask. It's just not my taste. We're doing more of a retro/rockabilly/Old Hollywood thing. Here's some alternatives to the damask look:
We are doing black and white as well! We are hinting with green.
Our bridesmaids are wearing simple black knee legnth dresses, and our boys are wearing pinstripe tuxes. They will have dark silver vests & green boutanniers - girls will have green hydrangea bouquets.

We are doing black and white, too! We're using the black/white polka dot pattern throughout our wedding with yellow and hints of green. Here's my inspiration:

Our daughter's wedding is in September, 2010. Black and White theme. I need some unique ideas for decorating the reception and ceremony. Outdoor ceremony for about 200. Help! Damask? Simple? Need some ideas.
