    @Dareebs: I think your dress will go best with a charcoal suit, a grey suit maybe a bit too wishy washy. Your dress is beautiful btw. Coral ties might be an idea to go with the charcoal suits.

    @Dareebs: I really like the charcoal. You could do as the pics you posted and the grooms party could wear black ties and the other colours could come in from the buttoniere.

    @Dareebs:  I love light gray and charcoal!  Both gorgeous colors.

    @Dareebs:  LOVE your dress!

    have you thought about putting your groom in charcoal and the groomsmen in black? You and I have very similar colors and I’m thinking about doing that. You don’t wear the same color as your maids – why should your groom? 😉 I think charcoal would be a lovely deviation from the norm!

    I think charcoal would be nice as well. If everyone’s in black, I think it starts to feel really heavy, especially for a garden wedding!

    @Dareebs:  My FI wants a white vest and tie (he’s wearing a tux) and then the groomsmen will do black vests and ties. If you’re doing suits, you could try and find a tie that works with your dress for you FI and then the guys could either be in black ties or maybe a color from your palette. Though I’m a huge fan of black ties and then having a colorful boutonniere for the groomsmen. It’s such a classic look!

    @Dareebs:  Another vote for charcoal!  I don’t like the idea of light grey suits with black bridesmaid dresses … I don’t know, it just doesn’t mesh well in my mind.

    All black would also look nice, but I think charcoal (especially if you tie in pops of coral or lavender) will keep it from looking so dark and formal.  Since you’re having an outdoor garden wedding, that’s definitely something to consider!

    I also wanted to mention that I love your dress!  It looks great on you, and it’s so romantic … Such an awesome color too!  Just stunning!

    I think that the groomsmen should be in the black and the groom in the charcoal. How lovely is your wedding going to be!!! I love it all the dress, your bouquet, the girls dresses!

    Black suits are pretty much just for funerals.  A light grey suit can really only be worn in the summer, and doesn’t look good on everyone.  Practically speaking, charcoal Is the most versatile, and therefore most likely to be worn again, or to be already owned by some of the groomsmen.  Unless unless they all have dark complexions, nix on the coral ties.  A grey tie will look good, or a patterned pink or black tie. Solid black ties are for night clubs and funerals.

    White shirts with French cuffs and medium spread collars.  Also, make sure the guys can tie a half or full Windsor knot.  Unless you go with skinny ties, you don’t want a four in hand knot anywhere.

    @Duncan:  Why not coral with a lighter complexion?  I actually thnk it looks really nice with pale skin too. Maybe if one has sallow or yellowish undertones, but with pink undertones I think it can look nice.

    Charcoal and grey can be very hard to match or find. If your guys are buying instead of renting be prepared for them to possibly not mach, especially if someone is big or tall. Black suits are easier to match. My dress was champagne and ivory and the groom and groomsmen wore black suits, white shirt, and a grey brocade vest. The men all wore different suits but because they’re black they look more uniform.
