So... Sadly Fi and I are way to poor to shop this black friday so I just window shop via internet but i see so many good deals!  Cry I actually almost went for my free bag from Victorias secret if i spend $60 and the bag at bath and body works if you spend $40.  But, FI would have a fit if I used credit cards. Then it made me wonder.. What, if any, Black Friday deals have you very tempted to go out or do having you ready to go out?

I complete 99% of my Christmas shopping Thanksgiving weekend.  On Black Friday, I'm excited for:

Target (Blu Ray player, toys, DVDs, clothes, appliances)

    Kmart (Snuggie, DVDs, kids clothes)

    Walgreens (pet stuff, meds, cosmetics)

    And on Saturday, the outlets!

I'm gettin the VS bag! I work there, so we get an extra 50% that day. I get the black friday bag every year. It'll take care of my roommates and my brothers girlfriend for x-mas.

Sadly, because I work there I will be working that morning. So, thats the only black friday shopping I get to do.

I used to work in retail a long time ago. There is nothing that could make me go shopping on that day. Or the day after Christmas. I know people that have a family tradition of going - in their pajamas! They get up at like 4 am.

I don't go out on Black Friday much anymore.  A lot of places have really good deals online and you don't have people stepping on your face!

Yeah I worked in retail too. Many moons ago. At the worst place ever - Gymboree.

you're not going to catch me out that day. Online shopping is the way to go. I don't have to get dressed and I don't want to punch anyone in front of me for asking for individual gift receipts for all 900 of their items and oh, can they write a check? Hulk smash!

Oh MissACS I hate the check writers!  They always start writing after the total is up so it takes FOREVER!  Either write everything out except the total before she is done or use a card!

I worked retail too... I hate black friday so it takes a good sale to get me out. I know one year i had a sprained ankle which i got at work and never got my job back since I wa sout for 4 weeks (thats another story), But i went to target on black friday. My dad drove me and i walked in with my crutches and bought all the harry potter movies because they were 5 bucks each oh and pink panther and the notebook.  I swaer people were getting out of my way... But it was so funny because i could barely walk but I wanted those movies.

But, yes i agree internet seems to be the best. Heck I prefer to shop that way most of the time ayways.

My mom and I are probably the only people on earth who think that the crowds and madness are SO MUCH FUN.  If it was calm and not busy, it wouldn't be Black Friday ;o)

My mom & I also have a tradition of going shopping on Black Friday every year but this year I'll be at finance's home so that'll break that tradition :(  I'm sure I'll go shopping w/FSIL & FMIL but it wont be the same.  My mom & I once camped outside Best Buy from 830pm until 5am to get a flat screen TV (4 years ago) - that's how crazy we are but I love it :)

I'm thinking of going to Target, but idk. I won't be up at the butt crack of dawn, prolly get there around 8am or so. But they have a $3 coffee maker! If it's gone, ah well. Anyone care to enlighten me on what exactly to expect? I've never gone, and I'd have to go it alone...

my mom flies in from japan to (conveniently) visit each year for thanksgiving... but really, for the thrill of BF-shopping chaos.  thankfully i'm in indiana now and NOT san diego-- much less stressful for me (but much less exciting for my mom).

www.blackfriday.info   they just posted the walmart ad!  Blue ray player for $79... I want it for FI!  Home Depot also has good deals on fake Xmas trees, so I gotta try there too :)

My BFF and I usually go out Friday starting around 3 am.  We don't mind the crowds, it's expected!

Man I wish I was able to head down to the States for this! So many bargains to be had! Ugh, I would have to make a weekend of it though - smuggling all my goodies across the border would not go over well!

Funny story. I live in Vancouver, BC, which borders Washington State. It's really common for us Canucks to head down the the US for the day to shop at the Seattle Premium Outlets. I went with friends a few weeks ago, but we spent way over our limit allowed for bringing things back across the border. No trip to the US would have been complete without a trip to Victoria's Secret (FINALLY coming to Canada soon), so to avoid paying duty, each of us went into a restaurant bathroom and put on our extra bras and panties!! I was wearing two bras and three pairs of underwear - talk about uncomfortable, lol!

Eek, I usually try to avoid black friday 'cause I hate the crowds, but this year I'll be hitting up Best Buy looking for a deal on a webcam for our DIY photobooth. I usually prefer online shopping for everything, but since my sister is in town, I want to take her with me to look.
