I love your color scheme!! With the vintage crystals perhaps you could make brooches for your centerpieces, or even incorporate them by stringing them for a stunning entry way arrangement. I definitely am one who loves the glamour of the good old days so to speak. I say string them and hang them from chandeliers.

The guys could wear grey suits as well which would be striking.

Here is a cool cake! Maybe you could do something with black and grey stars. Black BM dresses.. and here is a table setting- you could substitute the purple flowers for the blue

@shannyrelly: I actually saw some at Hobby Lobby that I will be using.  They are the 3 D pop outs made of a felt paper and chip board. I love them. They have little black and clear beads on them and everything.  As soon as I get them I will post a picture for you to see.  They will be hanging from the rafters at our venue.

Have you chosen a venue yet?

@shannyrelly: Sounds very similar to my venue. It was a renovated warehouse, turned office, now venue overlooking the river. it has a cute little deck as well and is adjacent to a park.  but it only holds 75 people at the most.

I’m doing a teal since we live at the beach and we met at Univ. of NC – Wilmington and teal is our school’s color. Our’s isn’t so much a bright teal, but more like a navy blue/greenish teal. I found this amazing graphic to use in our invitations (and hopefully anywhere I can put it!) and we’ll probably incorporate teal and ivory together, too, since my dress is ivory. We just painted our bedroom in teal and ivory and I love the two colors together. I think the black and grey make it more classy, and the pink lilies make the color pop.

I am also doing a dark teal, silver and black color scheme! I love it, so pretty! I am just having a hard time finding things that are the true teal color I am looking for! So frustrating… so many places call a color teal, but it’s really that light aqua color.  Have you found any good linens? or table decor?

I am thinking black table cloths with some kind of lighter overlay.. bridesmaids are going to have fuschia flowers with the dark teal dresses.

I have ordered my save the dates proofs and should have them back in a couple of days, so hopefully they can get the colors just right for me.

and the crystals would be GORGEOUS with this color scheme, i definitely wanted to try to include some bling with it 🙂 and you already have your own collection!
