Don't spend the money on a blacklight pen. Just take a black ballpoint pen and write small numbers in the bottem corner of the back of the RSVP card. No one will ever notice them, they serve the exact same purpose, and you don't have to needlessly spend money.
@Statutory Grape: If you number all of your RSVP cards, when you (inevitablly) get one back blank or with no name filled in, you know who it came from. People fail quite miserably at filling out RSVP cards properly. You'd be surprised.
Can't you also use Lemon Juice? I wanted to do black light, but someone reminded me of the lemon juice and a normal lamp trick.
@Statutory Grape The reason is so that no one sees a marking on it but you can assign a number or name to each card so if someone messes up and doesn't feel it all out you can look at that and see who it belongs to. EX. someone sends you a blank card and they don't realize it so they think they rsvp however you have no idea who it is from.
@FutureKMM We are doing post card rsvp so I wasn't sure how that would look. The add I had seen was actually only a few bucks. If I dont find one though I will def go witht he black number.
i bought a black light pen from a webby called deal extreme or something like that and it was about 2 dollars. they are so much fun to use, even aside from rsvp numbering! hehe.
I get the concept of numbering RSVP cards, but I second what pps have said--just use a ballpoint pen.
I just got my invisible ink pen set from The Paper Source. Love it.
I actually just found this one. Plus I thought my Fin might find it as a cool little trick to get him more involved.
@Statutory Grape: You can just use a ballpoint pen, but this keeps the RSVPs looking perfect and unused when your guests see them, and if you spent a lot of money or worked very hard on your DIY invitations, I don't see what is wrong with wanting to go the little extra way. Those pens are cheap anyway.
And if the pen is under $5 I don't see what is the bad idea either. LOL Plus it is a fun way to get the Fin involved. Gives him a fun little boy type of projects.

Back when we first started the wedding stuff I came across a post some place on some website about a pen that was invisible except under black light. I thought it would be great for helping with people that don't feel out the RSVP correctly.
Have any of you heard of this or have a clue where to get one?
