sexy!!! if you love em do it! My colors are champagne, butter yellow with a hint of perrywinkle. And i'm walking down the aisle in red ruby slippers!
Kristina from the blog Lovely Morning wore kick ass black c. lous with her dress. They were awesome.
I say go for it! Your shoes probably won't be visible unless you show them off anyway, which I am totally plan on doing since I'm wearing colored shoes too
Go with it! Look how great it looked here on Style Me Pretty:

I too am this close to going with a pair of black shoes (doesn't it seem like all the cute shoes come in black?!?!?!) I ordered yet another pair... hopefully that means my shoe search will be coming to a close soon.
It's your day...do what makes you happy! I think they are gorgeous!
I have a theory that black wedding shoes are going to be the next trend. They are super sexy. Love them!
I love black shoes. Almost every single pair of shoes I have is black (except for a pair of sneakers and a pair of silver heels I wore as a bridesmaid in a wedding). I would LOVE to get a new pair of black shoes for the wedding, but my MOH says that "black shoes aren't bridal" and that I "absolutely cannot wear black shoes!". It makes me smile to see that there are other brides out there considering wearing black shoes!! Right now I'm looking for shoes that are either burgundy (our main wedding color) or black, and my MOH will probably just have to deal with it if I end up getting black ones, LOL. I should print this page and show it to her! :-P
i'm wearing black shoes! a rather sexy strappy pair with ankle straps.
i love the smooth black sole and am sticking bold red hearts on the bottom! ![]()
the pair you've picked is GORGEOUS!
I say go for it! I debated wearing black shoes (our wedding colors were champagne and black), but my mom thought it was a crazy idea. If you get those shoes, you know you'll be able to rock them again with a Little Black Dress anytime.
Hmmm...cute shoes and I'm normally a big fan of breaking the mold, but I just feel like black shoes with your color scheme and in may might look a bit heavy and out of place. You don't want the first thing people notice about you in your dress to be your feet :) My MOH said something similar to me after I picked a dark pair of shoes, and she was right (as I discovered at my fitting). It's not that you can't be unconventional, but really dark colors will pull your eye.
I found several gold options with a t-strap (not all are as fancy, but just search sandals/t-strap/heel). You can search for other colors too. anyway, they shoes are really cute, this is just my 2 cents.

I particularly like these Laundry ones:

I'm doing black or yellow, haven't decided. I don't know that I would ever find shoes that are the perfect shade of antique white (like my dress) and I really want them to pop when they're seen (which will only be when I show them, since my dress is so long). I'm having a hard time finding yellow satin shoes though, so I'm leaning towards black. I love it!

Okay...my hunt for shoes has consumed me.
I have found very few pairs that make my heart flutter, and the few that I have found are either outside of my budget or unavailable in my size. But then I came across the shoes shown below...
I've avoided black shoes entirely until now...I wanted something whimsical - like champagne or gold, or else something with a pop of color. My wedding is in May, the ceremony is outdoors, my dress is ivory, and our colors are deep purple and chartreuse...would these shoes totally be the wrong direction to go? or should I just go with them cause I lovelovelove them???
Opinions appreciated...thanks bees!
