No, but you can buy chalkboard paint at Home Depot and paint whatever surface you like. If you or your FI are a little crafty, you could paint a plain sheet of wood (smoother than plywood) and then frame it out with some unfinished wood for a nice rustic touch.
I think Doctorgirl picked hers up at a yard sale or flea market.
I've used the chalkboard paint before and it works really well! If you're up for a DIY project, I definitely think it would be worth it!
I would suggest going the DIY route for the cheapest solution, like Soon2BeMrsC said. It's very easy to do and looks just like any other chalkboard!

I want to do a big blackboard for our drinks menu to go with my rustic/outdoor theme. I haven't yet found a large chalkboard that doesn't cost a million dollars.
