I would expand your search to include Charleston/Huntington, WV and central Ohio to give you some more options.
@speechie: Thanks Speechie! We are only considering the Blennerhasset hotel in WV. We actually live in the NYC metro area and a lot of our family lives in the OH/WV/PA area. We are really set on using an historic hotel or B&B for the venue and the Blennerhasset fits the bill. But, I've never known anyone to use it for a wedding, although they have a weddings section.
So, I guess in short, we're not considering anything outside the Blennerhasset in WV at this point.
Hmm, I'm a little late seeing this post, but I live in the Parkersburg are- about 5 minutes from the Blennerhasset. It is so beautiful for weddings! The staff and wedding coordinators are extremely helpful and accommodating too. It's located in downtown Parkersburg and there are many historic looking buildings in the area. Have you visited yet? Also, are you planning on doing the wedding in their tent or in the hotel, or a combo even?

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I am very interested in speaking to another bride who has had her wedding at the Blennerhasset hotel in WV. I guess I'm wondering what vendors might be in the area, price per person, how it went, etc. It's a lovely hotel and it would be a good half way point
Does anyone have any good information about it?
Thanks!
