I’m not sure who the bee was that suggested this, but I bought a Blinc Mascara at Sephora yesterday based on the raving reviews I read on this site. I have to say, I’m disappointed with it. I am not sure if I am using it correctly, so please chime in if some of you ladies use it!
Prior to this, I had been using Dior Diorshow mascara for the past 4 years. I loved how thick it made my lashes! I’m a natural blonde, which means my eye lashes are blonde (and it pretty much doesn’t look like I have any eyelashes since they are so light), so I really need a mascara that adds volume and stays the day, otherwise when mascara comes off of the tips of my eyelashes, my eyelashes fade into my skin.
I tried the Blinc Mascara and while I find it staying on, it doesn’t seem to have the volume that I had with Dior Diorshow. My eyelashes actually seem to be shorter AND thinner with the Blinc mascara. I tried putting a few coats on during the 2 minutes that the intructions said to do, but it didn’t seem to really help.
Is there anything else better out there than Diorshow? I find with Diorshow it sometimes comes off during the day and ends up underneath my lower lashes.

I love Diorshow and Diorshow blackout.
BUT try Fiberwig! They only sell it at Sephora, and it is pretty knockout.

I bought some blinc on the weekend and was also quite disapointed in it. It does lenghthen my lashes, but no volume what so ever. And so the quest for perfect mascara continues….

I haven’t tried Diorshow, but I’ve always loved badgal by Benefit. However, I find all mascara I try smudges under the bottom lashes. I think the only way around that is getting mascara with a teensy wand for those lashes.

I usually rotate between Diorshow waterproof, Benefit Badgal, and Clinique Lash Doubing Mascara. My eyelashes are already pretty long and thick, but I think Diorshow is still at the top of my list for making my lashes look best. Badgal is a close second, and I wear the Clinique when I want more natural looking lashes.
As for the smudging, have you tried the waterproof formula? I’ve never had a problem with smudging, but I’ve always used the waterproof one.

Blinc does take some working with to look right. I start at the inside corner, base of lashes and lightly work my way diagonally up and towards the outside of my eye, repeating until my lashes are coated. It seems to help.
I don’t have the fullest lashes but they look thin if I don’t apply this way. The light hand helps a lot because it tends to get really clumpy otherwise. So much unlike other mascaras!
I don’t have much choice because other mascaras really upset my eyes and this doesn’t flake or upset. I also hate that it only comes in black at Sephora.
