I hate to say this because its a response I get sometimes that is UBER frustrating... only you can tell :/ I'm sorry. Basically, if you have the "this is IT!" feeling in the dress, I would say accessories are your answer, but if you don't feel like you are wearing the one while you are in it, I think you might want to keep shopping to be sure. I'd say try it on with some sparklies at the store to double check, that's the best way to test out your gut feeling.
You can still be sparkley with jewelry. I wouldn't get rid of the dress just because of wanting to be sparkley!
My dress is very simple; strapless, sweetheart and a line, so I added chandelier earrings and a big art deco cuff. I am also tucking a few feathers in my chignon. Sometimes, less is more and I feel I have a better chance of looking back and seeing something more timeless and classic.
It sounds as if you really love the dress- I say go for it! Satement jewelry is so fantastic- maybe a vintage brooch necklace- etsy has some fantastic ones- or you could make your own like I did! It wasn't very hard and I have an amazing one of a kind piece! Good luck!! :)
@Ladylike: There are 2 dresses in question. The first 2 pics are Maggie Sottero Ericka (that's me in the dress) and the last one is Casablanca B015 (model in the dress). They are both really simple.
Simple but some real beutiful detail, especially on the first one...the beading is subtle but definately adds that sparkle you want on your wedding day! I think both are gorgeous, step up the bling factor with jewelry, fantastic shoes and a great clutch :)

The dress I THINK I am buying doesn't have a lot of sparkle, and I really want to be sparkly on my wedding day. Do you think this means I haven't found the right dress? Or do you think since I love the dress, I should just add sparkle with a necklace, earrings, etc. ?
