I am having crystal accents on my invites.. this is my first rough draft so ignore the awfulness of it..

@prncssdva: yep i just tried them both on together, they are the same flower i just wanted another one because i am well crazy lol i dunno!! and the invites are a headache in and of themselves lol!! i think i'll have to order like 40 extra to mess up lol!!

I love the bling. But I am using lighting to get mine instead of crystals everywhere. Doing a romance theme, candlelight everywhere, fairylight backdrops, etc. I will incorporate a little bling with crystals here and there too, but opted for romance with the theme...it spoke to me =) But I love what you have all done so far
Oh....one way I am adding some bling, I am making my fascinator to wear with a birdcage veil. I am adding small crystals to the birdcage veil, randomly placed, and I bought vintage blue crystal clip on earrings to use on my fascinator. Thouht it was a great way to get my something old and something blue in too. Here is a picture of the earrings I bought

crebre: love the invites!!! very fab!!! I only had bling on me for our wedding! well and the centerpieces had crystals on the branches with the orchids...

@leelee: omg the bracelet makes me drool love it!!!! and i will try the invites again in a bit maybe after some of the events that i have coming up (two in one day on the 27th and one on sunday wooo)

@leelee: girl that was an invite fail, notice that is my rsvp cards, because they cut my invites too small (i will be cutting everything myself from now on).
crebre; ohh...is that a wax stamp on the pic?? Im loving the chandeliers as usual!!!!!! my seating chart had chandeliers as did our table numbers..I think you saw those pics...
@leelee: yes that is a very poor example of a wax stamp (i screwed it up lol still working on perfecting it)... and yes the chandeliers are still rocking my world. The RSVPs probably won't have them, but we're probably doing a menu or something like that that will ave them I guess lol... We don't do seating charts here in the south but I think I may do some type of placecard for the different menu choices to alert the wait staff.
@ crebre: ohhh I made entree cards with the guest name, entree and a chandelier on it!!! I just had to! : )
My gold dress is really sparkly - I bought this on etsy.com to wear as either a headband (gotta find a birdcage veil to go with) or a necklace. Worst case scenario, if it doesn't look right, I wear it for another occasion. The designer was also really nice - she included a second gold ribbon in a different shade because I was nervous about the colors matching!

Thanks leelee! It's actually a headband with options. I had emailed the link to my mom before I bought it, just to get her opinion, but I ended up buying it almost immediately afterwards, as it's a one-of-a-kind. By the time she looked at it, she saw that it was "sold out", and she called me freaking out! She was, of course, relieved to know that it was me who bought it.
I cannot recommend etsy.com enough for unique, gorgeous, often very reasonably priced items!

I am having lots of accents of bling in my wedding. I am DIY'ing monograms, the cake will have sparkle, the centerpices, invitations, me (from head to toe), the jewelry for my BMS, and much more.
