@cvanzante:  At least here in the Denver area, we were able to start with a courtesy block and then add to it as needed. I would be very careful committing to that many rooms because depending on how the contract is written, you could be on the hook if they end up not being booked by wedding guests. Is blocking that many rooms standard for your wedding location? Can the rooms be released by a certain date (at no cost to you) if guests don’t book them?
