congrats on your paper completion! i know how you are feeling...mine were def a labor of love. being a graphic designer though, eveyone expects something grand from me! don't get me started on the other 9545439 paper projects i have going on either! ughhhh!
@ijustrockout: I don't know if I'd say mine were a labor of love, but I am pleased with how they turned out! Good luck with yours. At least the expectations are probably low for mine haha.
@Amaryllis: If I had seen a design like that, I would have picked it.
They look great! Have you printed them all out already? If not I would consider rephrasing the "Kindly please reply by.." Because Kindly and please both mean the same thing so its a bit of a repetition although most guests wont notice or care.
Good job! I feel your pain, I also designed mine and printed them off at home. Do you know what your DPI was? The first go round (I know nothing about printers or computers) my DPI was 72 and they looked like crap. Changed it to 300 and they look really sharp and crisp.
@Bostonsmom: No idea, but it's as good as it gets. We have friends with a print shop.
@bells: They're already getting printed, but whatever. I'd rather be overly polite than not enough.
Thanks for the comments, bees!

I finished designing my invites tonight. Finally. They were supposed to be done and go out on Friday, but then, bad things happened, and images were grainy, and I had to start all over. We are printing them ourselves. It would probably help if I would have any design ability whatsoever, but paper was not high on our priority list. Thus:
Even though they're fairly plain, it took forever. We wanted them to be simple but naturey. They're a little more old fashioned style than I originally wanted, but it was hard to find an image that was free and looked good and fit the overall style. I originally designed an enclosure with reception information, but it never looked quite right and didn't have enough information to be useful, so I caved and set up a website tonight, too.
If anyone is interested, I got the clip art from an open source website. The fonts are French Script and Bell. We decided that the black and white image looked too flat so I added the green using the glow format feature in Power Point, which is how I designed them. I know you're all jealous of my mad design skillz.
Total cost for 100 invites: $22.00 and hours of my life I'll never get back. ;)
