no it is not a bldy show   that happens late in labor  when you transition to the pushing stage

Bloody show typically occurs shortly before labor or in early labor. While it can be later, it is not limited to that.

So yes, this could be a kind of bloody show. It’s either somewhat that or some more mucuos plug that didn’t make it out when you lost the rest of it. So even if it doesn’t mean labor is imminent, something is happening at least! 🙂

My bloody show started off as brown mucus stuff, then progressed to actual blood once my water broke and the contractions were getting to be really intense. Sounds like it’ll be soon…good luck!

This post is a classic example of why people should not ask for medical advice (not saying that the OP is in this case) on the internet.

The second and third responses give diametrically opposite answers! How would anyone know which Bee is giving the correct answer?

@tnbellebee:  Mine was a lot of bright red blood. It was like the second day of a period.

@tnbellebee:  I know. That’s why I said the OP (that’s you) was not asking for medical advice in this case.

But, as you can see from the answers, one response is the polar opposite of the others.

@julies1949:  In this case, a quick google search will turn up the right answer. 😉
