what do y'all think of this look?  I was originally thinking black dress with red shoes, but my eyes keep wandering to this color of blue dress...I think it looks so sharp.  But not sure about how the red shoes look with it?

    Suggestions?

I really like that shade of blue as well but i think that the only reason that the red is working well with it is because they also have redish colored boquets. You will probably have a harder time matching that shade of blue than you would the black. I think that the red shoes would match well with a black dress if you have red incorporated in their boquets or even their jewelry.

I think its cute but personally not my preference.  I do really like that color blue though.

I'm going to be honest - the first thing that came to mind when I read blue dress and red shoes in Dorathy from the Wizard of OZ!

I like it, especially with the bouquets. The only thing I'd be wary of is making sure you don't end up looking too american-flagy with the red, white, and blue :)

I LOVE it. It's such a pop. I would have killed to have my bridesmaids in fabulous shoes like that, unfortunately their dress was too much on its own.

i don't know...my first reaction is "clown." maybe on a little girl it would be super adorable but i'm not sure it would be sophisticated enough for a woman. that is, the blue with the red. i love the blue by itself with a black shoe!

if you want to go with the red shoe, i would say black. it's a great look and i think my girls will be doing that as well.

Red & blue is a very retro look & I have seen it done with several different shades of blue as well (aqua & sky blue are popular with cherry red acccents).

If you like it you like it, there is always going to be someone who disagrees with your choice of decor/venue/dress/flowers whatever, but what matters is that you are happy with it.

I like how the colours pop in the inspiration picture -- but I am a sucker for vibrant colours in photography.
