@Korenne:  I just loved this style as well! I have had my ering for about two years now and the matching wedding band for 1.5 and they are both holding up great, no problems and I wear them all the time. I love how detailed they are and pretty petite. Mine is in 18k white gold with a .35ct diamond size 6.5 fyi. I had my soldered together after the wedding because the wedding band would always turn so the diamonds wouldn’t match up on top.Sorry for the huge pics! Hope this helps you 🙂

@Korenne:  Oh also not hard to keep clean at all, I just use a soft toothbrush every once in a while to get the pave clean.

I realize this is an old post but I figured I’d bump this one rather than post a new one with the same question. I’d really like to see pics of these two styles on REAL fingers! Having trouble deciding between the two. I’d especially like to see what the back of the ring looks like, so if you have a matching wedding band I’d appreciate taking it off so it doesn’t block the engagement ring 🙂

I’m a lurker but I signed up so I could respond here and help you out. It’s difficult to find real-life pics of this ring. I got engaged on Christmas (total surprise) and he gave me the Blue Nile hand engraved ring in white gold, not the micropave version. It’s so pretty! He picked it because he thought the side view looked cool.

I’m sorry if the pic is huge.

My fiancé and I got engaged this past New Year’s at midnight (which was also a surprise and was exactly 3 years after our first kiss)! I have the Blue Nile Hand Engraved Micropave e-ring and really do love it. All I can remember about my diamond without looking it up is that it’s 1.03 ct. It’s actually a little dirty in the pics (sorry) so to clean it I use a soft toothbrush and dawn dishsoap once in a while and that really makes it shine! I am debating whether or not to get the matching band. I like the look of non-matching bands, but the style is so unique I’m not sure what will look best.
