I'd be really concious about putting faces close to the insides (but that is the case with any book, right?) but that's about it! I was pleased with blurb for the price! There's typically always a coupon of some sort and the colors turned out nicely.
I have nothing but great things to say about the books I made with them, they turned out beautifully! In fact, I'm starting to help my mom make one also. :)
Blurb books are pretty decent for the price. There are a few things I would consider / keep in mind::
I would definitely make sure your total number of pages is divisible by 4 (they say they 'cut out' the extra pages but they sometimes don't - leaving you with unwanted blank, white sheets)
Don't put any text/photos that are important near the outside edge or near the center.
I would also be weary of images that expand across two pages - they don't always do the best job lining them up.
They make great gifts - I made one 2 years ago and my family loved it! - and there definitely are coupons out there like penguin mentioned.

Hello there!
I am starting to work on album ideas with the holidays approaching, and am thinking I am going to go through Blurb. If you have made an album with Blurb, do you have any advice? Something you loved, or something you would do differently?
Thanks!
