So I stumbled accross Blub.com just recently. Has anyone used it for their own wedding pics? How did you like the quality of the book? Was it worth it? Any words of advice?

I used Blurb to make albums for my family and I LOVED the way they turned out. My suggestion is definitly to use the premium paper.  It is a little more expensive but totally worth it.  You can't be expecting it to be normal wedding album quality because it isn't but it is great.  Way better than Kodak books and such.  Good luck!!

I've made blurb books from vacation pictures, and our engagement pictures.  While I love the books that I made,  I think it's probably better for tabletop books (or engagement picture guest book), not really an album.

I made 2 albums last year out of old family photos for my mom and gramma - they LOVED them!  I am also making some for FIL and my parents to have of the wedding pictures,

I've tried many different ones, at blurb you can do anything but i personally don't like to download stuff, that's why i've tried www.solentro.com which is easy to use and the books are great... also, they ship from Europe and it's only $7...

I really liked the Blurb engagement book I did and just finished up our parent's albums. We weren't in a position to spend $500 on professional albums for each of our parents. Blurb was a way to incorporate all the photos we wanted to use, at a lesser quality but still very nice, for $120 each. Plus they have promos all the time!

I used Blurb to make a compilation album of miscellaneous photos, not wedding photos.  I was not really impressed with the book.  Even with premium paper, the pages were thin and it reminded me of a thin children's book.  I had high expectations because they were so highly recommended.  We were thinking of using them for a photo guestbook but I ended up just making a large scrapbook (12x12) instead.  I prefer the look of that much more!
