We are renting vases and placing their bouquets on the bar and cocktail tables as centerpieces. I love the idea of repurposing them!
I'm using bouquet holder table clips and placing them in those on the head table.
I have some vases already and I'm thinking of putting them on the gift table.
The other suggestions are great, and I always love it when there are pretty flowers in the bathrooms-- very nice touch.
If you choose somewhere like the escort card table, guest book table or the cocktail tables, just keep in mind the timing-- if you're getting your photos taken after the ceremony, you might miss half of the cocktail hour, and you wouldn't want just empty vases set up during the time those areas are most being used (people signing guest book, picking up escort cards, etc.)
I had originally thought the guestbook table, gift table, etc would be a good idea, but I agree with jhphi in that those places will already have been seen by the time we get to the recption hall to place the bouquets. We decided to place one at the bar and the other three will surround my bouquet on our head table.
I have an idea but it would only work if you are taking pics of the wedding party AFTER the ceremony. You could put the bouquets in the vases on the escort card table, guestbook/gift table, etc. and grab them right before the ceremony, then replace them after the ceremony and pictures. I was in a wedding last June where we got our bouquets at the bride's home about 1.5 hours before the wedding and it was a real pain to have to carry them around everywhere. When we got to the ceremony venue, she had a bride's dressing room where we had to scrounge for pitchers and large cups to hold the bouquets so they wouldn't get squished if we put them on the table. Having them in vases close to the ceremony would leave BM hands free until right before they walk down the aisle!
Are you having a table for favors, at all? That's also a place that they could go.
In vases on the head table. The flower spray on the ceremony arch will also be used at the head table. It's great to get the most out of your flowers!
I have dollar store vases that will be filled with water for all 4 boquets. in front of my FI and I will be my boquet and my MOH's (they will be askew from each other) on either side will be glass vases with floating candles and under the candles will be a few strands of "long grass" for lack of a better term. The other two BM boquets will be in the center of the adjacent tables with pillar candles on either side of them in the same vases... Hard to get a visual from that, but ours will all be at the head table!
Ha, just realized that this post is over a month old! Hope the OP came up with something she loves!
we'll be buying vases for the head table adn using our bouquets as the main pieces and sprinkling petals in between... and myabe a few christmas lights around the table :)
Our venue has a fireplace in the dining room, so we'll be putting four smaller vases and one large vase (for the BM bouquets and my bouquet, respectively) on the mantel and will display them there.

I am meeting with my florist tomorrow to finalize some details. I want to make sure we think ahead to where my 4 BMs will put there bouquets once we get to the reception. I do not want to put them all on the cake table. Suggestions??
