I'm doing it. Don't have any pictures but I also couldn't fathom just tossing them aside.
I haven't seen this done with the guest tables, but I was a BM once where we used our bouquets to decorate the head table. She just had nice vases set out and we put out bouquets in there. It worked out great, and saved them from having to spend money on the head table decor.
We might use them on the head table or on the cake table so we don't have to buy flowers for it.
I'm considering doing this. We're doing mostly candle centerpieces, but I know in the past as a bridesmaid I would have appreicated something to put my flowers in so that they didn't end up on the floor or my seat, so there might be a few tables with flowers at them after all. ;)
I'm with Dancy. I'll use the BM bouquets on the escort card table, cake table, or other places like that. I only have 3 BMs, but if I had more I'd definitely make them double as centerpieces.
I planned on doing this, too! i hope they don't mind. it's a DW so i can't bring a lot of decor. I am lining the table with tea lights in mini votives, with the flowers in the center, and if i can find enough, some palm leaves underneith. Hope it looks good! haha. Plus no one will want to cart this bouquet home on the plane, so it'll get some use this way.
We;re doing this on 7 of our 25 tables, 8 if you count mine on the sweetheart. I think it's a great idea!
Yeah - we're doing that. Just sticking them in ready vases on the head table once the reception starts.
That's a great idea! I've only seen them used as centerpieces for the head table, too. They set out vases in front of every bridesmaids' place. If my bridesmaid bouquet were at another table, I'd be a little sad...but I just love flowers. Maybe your 'maids will be totally fine with it!
that's what we're doing- the florist was a little confused about the idea- but it will majorly cut costs so i'm doing it. i'm a little concerned about how i can spruce up the table decor though and not have it look really plain...
We used the BM's bouquets as the flowers on our sweetheart table. We just had 5 small square vases filled with a little bit of water and after the grand entrance each girl put their flowers in the vases and got them back at the end of the night.

I really can't imagine myself spending thousands on flowers so I'm considering using the bm's bouquets as centerpieces in nice vases. Is anyone doing this or seen it done?
