renwoman:  You can do whatever you like. Bouquets sometimes have an unstated purpose. They give the girls something to do with their hands. What about having them carry a single flower or a hand tied bouquet of 3 flowers? Or pin a flower to a clutch and have it be a gift? Many dresses have delicate fabric that doesn’t bear the weight of a corsage well.

Imo, it really depends on what the bouquet and corsage will look like. Do you have any pictures/ideas to compare?

I did the search “wrist corsage on bridesmaid” https://www.google.com/search?q=wrist+corsage+on+bridesmaid&rls=com.microsoft:en-GB&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=U28eU7HzOYSpkwWgo4HwAQ&ved=0CCUQsAQ&biw=1745&bih=868#q=wrist+corsage+on+bridesmaid&rls=com.microsoft:en-GB&tbm=isch  is the result and it looks great! I did consider this for my one and only bridesmaid due to the cost but found someone cheaper so it didn’t matter!
