Is it silk dupioni? That gets expensive. If the girls picked it do they know how much it is?

That's one of the dresses for my girls (different color though). It's silk shantung and it's like $198 if memory serves. You said they picked it, right? The prices are right there on the web site next to the dresses so they should know what it costs - unless they found it in a magazine or something. Have they specifically said they don't want to pay that much for it?
Oh, that's not even that bad. I'd say you could check David's Bridal for something similar, which would probably be around $115-135 (I forget the cost for shorter bm dresses, but they're all the same price pretty much). It's less expensive... but it's also cheaper. ;)
well the one in the picture is silk shantung for $195. but aria has it in one other fabric for $165. They don't know how much it is, i just sent them the picture. i def know 2 of them will be able to afford it, but my parents would be paying for my sisters' dress so it's more $$ on top of the wedding.
I've looked at davids but i'm not crazy about their dresses, not even the bridal gowns.
i've looked at ann taylor, normstrom, etc etc.
well i have what, 6 mos to find one if the wedding is next august.

it's a bit pricey & i don't want them to have to fork up $$ they may not have so I want to give them more options. can anyone help me find a dress simliar to this, same/similar color as well? TIA.
