ahhhhhh i am at my wit's end on this one.  the wedding is in 2 weeks and one of my BM still doesn't have her dress though no fault of hers.  Basically all the girls went to pick out their dresses in Feb to ensure that there was PLENTY of time before the wedding in case alterations were necessary.  Well, the dresses came in late April which is fine... still plenty of time.  Now i told the bridal shop to call me when ALL the dresses came in.

Bridal Shop mistake no. 1: they called the two BM's whose dresses came in (everyone got to pick their own style). One BM was out of town and picked up both dresses and paid off the balance before i told her that i would pay them all off. Well... turns out the one who was out of town received a dress 6 sizes too small. BM went in and they acknowledged that it was their fault (girl wrote down the correct measurements but ordered the wrong size) and ordered a new dress and even rushed it. Fantastic!

Bridal Shop mistake no. 2: Another BM complained that the cut of the dress was more revealing than the sample even though they are the exact same size.  The shop said that they could order in some extra fabric for her. Then weeks later when it actually came in... it turns out the ordered it in the WRONG color.

Bridal Shop mistake no. 3: The BM getting the new dress was supposed to receive it on Jun 14th. Well, June 14th rolled around and no call or anything from the shop. So she calls them and they tell her it will ship the following wed or friday.  Friday rolls around so she calls them back since they haven't updated her only to find out that now that dress is lost in the manufacturer's warehouse. !!

So then i had to call Bridal shop since BM will be out of town and won't be back until the day before the wedding. They said they located the dress and it will ship from china to their texas warehouse (~1 week) and then another 1/2 week to ship it to california. Seriously?! What. the. hell.

 now i'm just afraid that they'll screw it up royally... like it won't be in the correct size or color or maybe it won't even come in! i've tried looking for backup dresses but i can't find anything in the correct shade i need and the right material. and of course this is just another thing to add to my never ending list.

Thanks for the help. I'm looking for a tea length chiffon dress in sky blue by Watters/ WToo.  I think any style would suffice as a back up.  My poor BM has been stressing over this as well.
