So my BM dresses were supposed to arrive March 28th for my may 17th wedding – (ordered in November) 3 of my 4 dresses haven’t even SEEN the dresses in person, forget about trying them on (they all selected based on the pictures).
I got confirmation that they are scheduled to be delivered to the store on April 25th, giving me 3 weeks to get them to the girls (who live in different provinces) and have them get any needed alterations. Getting answers from the store where I ordered has been a nightmare, the phone number on their website is no longer in service and when you call you get a message to call another number (that doesn’t identify it as a store number on the voicemail), they’ve changed the delivery date on me 3 times now, no one bothered to tell me they’d be late at all, I had to go looking for answers the week after I didn’t get a call to come pick them up!
What would you do? I’m not happy about this at all and I feel like we should get some sort of compensation for this but maybe I’m overracting? Thoughts?

I think that is just the world of bridesmaids dresses. I went through a similar situation trying to get mine. Most bridal designers go by the wedding date for when the came in (like only a couple weeks before). The only way to get around it is having the bridal shop give them an earlier fake wedding date, which my bridal shop said they did and they still came a month late (and they only seemed to come in once I got the manager involved). I might talk to the manager to tell them you are dissappointed that they changed the delivery date so many times, but I would realize that it might not be their fault and I doubt that they would do anything about it. I would really stress to the manager that you absolutely need them on the 25th, and ask if there is anything they can do to ensure the delivery is on time and for them to call the moment it arrives in the stores.
While I was frantic too, the good thing is that bridesmaid dresses are pretty easy to alter, and they could do it in a few days if needed. Have your girls make alteration appointments now so they can get in, and ship their dresses to them asap. Unfortunately your story is not uncommon at all- just sort of the world of bridesmaid dresses.
