A seamstress should be able to remove the fullness from the skirt no problem

Yeah taking fullness out of a skirt isn’t that hard… Honestly, my grandmother cut apart my slip to take some fullness out, all it took was a pair of scissors (not that I’d suggest that for dresses, but it shouldn’t be a tough alteration).

And honestly, you let them pick them out. That’s a hard style to pull off, being short and strapless and pretty voluminous.  It’s nice of you to feel bad but ultimately it’s their fault.

I’m honestly pretty surprised that they’re not flattering. Sweetheart neckline + natural waist + chiffon is one of the most flattering combinations. all of my BMs chose dresses like that (size 0-26) and they all look great.
