i vote for the martini glass! but depending on the drinking habits of your girls it could go either way. it sounds cute! do you have a pic?
I think it's a cute idea. It depends on what your girls prefer drinking, but I'd get more use out of a wine glass. Then again, I already have lots of those, so for a "girls night out" glass, I'd probably want a martini glass. ;)
I guess it depends on which they would drink more of, unless it doesn't matter & they could drink w/e out of it.
I think the martini glass would look cooler!!
I like martini glasses because of the shape. If they don't drink out of them, they can always serve cute little appetizers in them!
I voted martini glasses because I love love love them. One of my close friends and I have a tradition of buying each other cute martini glasses. Anthropologie has some to die for. So now, I literally drink almost everything out of them because I have such a collection!
Everything alcoholic, I mean. Haha, I don't go around drinking water out of a martini glass, I promise!
I think martini glasses are a little more versatile. They could easily be used to serve an appetizer or dessert or as a candy dish.
I voted martini glass because lots of people have a set of wine glasses but less have sets of martini glasses. I feel like it's easier to mix-and-match that kind of glassware in your home. Odd wine glasses just take up space in my cabinets and get banished to the back. I love the idea, though. and LOL @lilyfaith. I'm thinking about drinking water out of a martini glass tonight in your honor.
i would go with martini glass, but i agree with the poster above that it would be fun if you bought the appropriate glass for their drink of choice:)
Honestly, I don't like the idea of glassware. I have some mix and match wine glasses from wine tastings and they all get stuck in the cupboard or taken to Goodwill. Personally, I'd prefer a glass with my initials or my name etched on it vs. the GNO saying.
BUT - if you go that route - either glass would be fine. In my circle, the martini glass would be more used than the wine glass - so go with what your friends would use more!

so i have these neclaces i am getting my girls as there gift and i saw these cute wine and martini glasses that say girls night out on it so i thought it might be cute to put the box with the neclace inside and put it in the glass. what are your thoughts.
if you like the idea do you think wine glass or martini glass
