    Hi Hive!

Need some help with my BMs gifts.

I had tote bags made in different fabric for each girl and I'm stuck on what to fill it with. My girls are all soooo different. After months of debating, what I'm thinking of doing is getting a few little things like bath/body products, etc... and then making the biggest part of the gift a giftcard to their favorite store (different for each).

But... I've read here and there that giving gift cards is tacky because they don't require much thought. So my question is, if you got a giftcard, would you be offended or feel like not much thought went into the gift?

I think that's a great idea - giftcards and all! You're making it thoughtful by getting each girl a GC to her favorite store. I'd love it!

I think that's a fine idea. You've already made it personal with the tote bags and including items in them that each girl would like. Plus you are getting them all different gift cards based on their own style and preference. you're giving the gift of shopping - what girl wouldn't love that??

Nah. I personally hate giving gift cards, but i LOVE receiving them. I just love gift-giving. Could you go to their favorite store and buy something in that budget range, but include the gift receipt? I'd MUCH rather get a gift card than get something I don't like/need, you know? Plus, you're picking out their favortie store. You could always get them a knick-knack from that store, like cute socks or a piece of jewelry you think they'd like in addition to the GC

Bath and Body Works is having a monstrous sale right now.

Thanks for the ideas ladies! I'm gonna go pick up the giftcards today and I'll be on the hunt for little knick-knacks from the different stores.  BM gift question : wedding Icon Biggrin

Hi! Not sure what your price range is and if you already bought the gift cards, but just wanted to share what I did. I bought tote bags for my bridesmaids too and I had already bought monogrammed vases, so to stuff the bag (and cushion the vases) I also bought each girl a beach towel with their name on it. The beach towels were $24 each and they came out really well! They were so cute I bought myself one too! Here's the website I used - http://www.monogramchick.com/item_35/Monogrammed-Striped-Beach-Towel.htm

Also, my tote bags had a little pocket on the front, so I'm thinking of buying these little matte frames from michael's and putting a picture of me and my bridesmaid in it and writing a little message on the back.

    Hope this helps!

Hi all! still a ways a way from my wedding but already planning up a storm! I don't even have my bridal party set yet and already found a great site for cute gifts to include in my gift packages for them! Check it out - the site is www.modernluxuri.com  They have a bridal collection with jewlery made for bridesmaids, flower girls, mother of the bride, etc. Also sell really cute t-shirts for brides to be! I already want to order everything.....!!

Another idea too that my cousin used at her wedding was to stuff her totes with yumy snacks and things for her bridesmaids since they were staying in a hotel and might not always have food on hand!
