I think they're fine. Do all your BM wear earrings though? I can't even wear clip ons without my ears becoming bright red, and I have big ears so I look ridiculous.
Yes, they can all wear them. My MOH has hers stretched but only a little so she is working something up to use as a stud type earring because her and her mom are very crafty...lol other than that all the others are good to go. THe MOH and flower girl/junior BM (shes 10) are wearing a lighter version of purple: Victorian Lilac. I got our flower girl the same necklace but it has both a dark purple and lighter purple in it and really cute cluster earrings for her appropriate for her age :)
I read somewhere that "crystal" jewelry doesn't photograph well, because it's clear in nature, you will just see skin tone thru it. Not sure if that is accurate, but that would be the only reason to steer clear of it. The set you picked out is beautiful though!
I'd go with just the earrings and lose the necklace. The neckline of that dress is really detailed and can stand on its own.
I've worn jewelry like that for weddings i've been in, and yes, it looks/feels cheap, and i never wear it again. It feels like kid jewelry....sorry!!!
I like the earrings but I really don't like necklaces with that shape. I feel the BM's will be feeling choked or something. Is there a Y necklace of the necklace you posted? If so maybe that would be a better choice. Sorry.
@fourpeass: I agree - a necklace with that neckline would be a little much for my taste.
I like both the earring and necklace, but its hard to tell how the quality looks/feels from your pictures. I would ask a friend or bm to come look at them in person with you if you want an accurate second opinion.
@ejs4y8: I agree. this is the sort of jewelry I wore as a child. If this is the look you want for your wedding that's totally fine but don't be surprised if the bridesmaids don't wear it again.
I agree with the other Bees about the neckline not needing a necklace. That is such a naturally beautiful part of a woman that it's fine not to adorn it. I would go with more dramatic earrings and no necklace.
I'm a jewelry designer and crystals are awesome when used the right way. The clear ones really sparkle with your movement. It's true that it's hard to photograph. But you want something solid between them and the design should be more complex as you get older.
Here are some gorgeous CZ earrings that would look awesome with those gorgeous dresses! :) They all mimic the shape of the detailing at the top of the dress.

I agree that a necklace would conflict with the neckline of the dress. You don't want to compete with or take away from the design of the dress. Those earrings that Tesbella posted would all look great. I vote for no necklace and bolder earrings. You can definitely find some affordable ones, at JCpenney, Macy's, even forever 21.

Hello!
So we have our BM dresses (Alexia 2812) in Eggplant....I have found the following earrings and necklace from JCPenney but now I am not sure if they look cheap?? I thought I would go with crystal jewlery because I am wearng casablanca 1957 and it is more embroidery, and crystals and their dress has embroidery and some beading at the top and the crystal broach in the middle.
The photos are horrible but they are crystal iridescent earrings and necklace, what do you think?
