I think they all look and different styles aren't going to change anything, though I would still with a single theme. In this case I think giving everyone pearls would be a beautiful way to thank them.
Birthstones are nice, and saphires are one of my favorite stones, but I think if everyone else is getting pearls then it just makes a nice statement if everyone has the same theme.
I think giving everyone a variation of pearl jewelry that matches their taste and style is a really nice idea.
I think you could do it to suit their personality/frame. I'm bigger, so obviously bigger pieces look better on me.
I should add, definitely go with statement earrings or statement necklace, not both--that could overwhelm anyone!

I'm thinking about jewelry for my 4 BMs. I want to give them peices that will fit their personalities and coordinate with the rest of the wedding. The dresses are strapless and light blue with silver heels. My dress is white and I'm wearing a pearl tin cup necklace with dangly pearl earrings.
I'm thinking of giving my MOH a statement pearl necklace
BM L - statement pearl earrings
BM R (14 yr old sister) sapphire set, stud earrings and pendant
BM E - pearl studs and pendant
I love the look of these big peices of jewelry, but they only fit the personality of two of my BMs. I'm afraid the other 2 wouldn't like them. Sapphires are my little sister's birthstone so I wanted to give that to her. BM E is very minimalist in jewelry.

Do you think these things would coordinate well together? Or would it look out of place for two of the BMs to be wearing giant jewelry and the others to have smaller peices? Are the sapphires too far out of left field?
