@Jaxx90:  Sorry that’s happened 🙁

Unfortunately, I’ve always been under the impression that if your Maid of Honour/Chief Bridesmaid doesn’t organise a hen, you don’t have one. It’s a party they throw for you, not a party you throw for them. You’re organising a wedding, after all…

@Jaxx90:  So sorry that this is happening to you! My sister/MOH is organizing mine. I said that I didn’t want to know anything but when it will be and what time.

Nobody organized mine. I did it myself

My MOH put the organizing in motion, and my BMs stepped up. I guess that as you have no MOH there was no clear leader, and having the distance between everyone doesn’t help.

@Jaxx90:  A hen’s night is a gift, not a right. If someone doesn’t want to throw you one then unfortunately it is just tough luck.

They may also feel like you are pressuring them to hold on for you since you have asked them directly and sent them lists about it. This may have left a bad taste in their mouths.

@Jaxx90:  Yes, it is wrong to organise your own Hen’s… I wouldn’t, if I were you – just don’t have one at all. It sucks, but that’s the situation.
