I think someone suggested it before but nothing came of it...
I wouldn't mind having a Petite board.
Very true. Post it in the ideas section! Things are added to WB from members voting on them. If there is enough interest, we could add it!
@gerbera: definitely post this in the ideas section. I definitely think there should be a board for y'all as well, because just as sure as most dresses are 6 sizes too small for me to try and i cannot get an accurate representation, I'm sure having a dress 15 sizes too big also presents a problem because how can you tell what it'll look like on...
Someone suggested having a "tall" and "petite" board - I don't remember where it was, but I voted for them. I could use the "tall" one...
Does anyone know if I can search on the Ideas board? I swear I remember seeing a thread on that in there...
It was a few weeks ago, not sure of the link, but just post it again! :o) I vote for a petites board!
Do you mean petite as in vertically challenged or uber-thin? Most people do not agree on what the word means.
We didn't create a petite board, because there haven't been many petite-ish posts alas...
It's kinda like having a Green board to talk about green weddings. Someone suggested it and we thought it was a great idea, so we encouraged people to post about it! But there were very few posts made about it, so we put the idea aside...
If you guys would like a Petite board, please post petite-related posts! Make sure to tag the threads with the word petite! :-)
Go vote for it! I really wanted one, because I've posted on a lot of the petite topics (I'm 5'), but they got lost really easily. I tag them when I see them, but I've noticed a lot of posters don't tag them with "petite."
It's not a question of voting... we'd love to see some actual posts on the subject!
I think there's confusion about what the term "petite" would mean. Does it mean that you're short... or that you're a size 0? Or both???
It could cover both I guess? It's more up to you guys... :-)
I think it's definitely both. At all my weight ranges, I've been considered petite just because I'm short and small boned. You can be plus size and still petite. :)
I think it's either or. Even though I know when it comes more to clothing (ie Jcrew Petites) it's skinny & short.
I mean being skinny AND tall is a whole 'nother issue in and of itself! Petite clothing are mainly made for skinny and short.
I definitely like this idea...we have our own set of issues to deal with regarding wedding shopping, etc! Definitely post some threads on petite issues, ladies!!! :)

So, not to create drama. But I'm curious. Is there a Petite Brides board?
I mean, if there's one for full figured brides why isn't there one for Petite Brides?
Petite Brides have just as much issues shopping for bridal dresses as full figured brides. Samples are usually 15 sizes too big that I have to "imagine" what the dress in a right size will look on me.
I'm just curious. Has there not been a demand for it?
We're always talking we're all about equality right?
