I’ve had my nipples pierced. I don’t have much sensation in my nipples so it didn’t make a difference.

I have my tongue pierces and it makes no difference in my sex life whatsoever. I just like it. Honestly, my husband isn’t a huge fan, but he’s fine with it.

I have my nipples pierced currently! I can say that they did actually make them more sensitive. The only drawback is that they’re a finicky piercing to heal and with proper care and management it is usually months before you can “play” with them.

WowGamerBabe:  I got mine done several years ago, and since I wasn’t sure if I would lose sensitivity or not, I opted to only get one side pierced.  The sensitivity increased for me, so it definitely added a little something to my sex life, but it eventually went back down to normal after a while.  I also have my tongue and belly button pierced, and the nipple was the one I constantly had to keep clean or else I’d get little crusties (gross, I know).  Oh, and you have to extra careful when showering with those mesh poufs or else they may get caught on a piercing.

I liked all my piercings, but I had to take them all out when I went to get my wisdom teeth out a couple of years ago, and haven’t bothered putting any of them back in.

If you’re going to get them done, I’d recommend getting one done first to see how you like it and how your body reacts to it.  If you end up liking it, you can always get the other one done afterwards.

I have my tongue pierced – had a really bad reaction and ended up with permanent damage. However, that is very unusual indeed… when I got medical advice, I was told that they had never seen a reaction like it to a piercing.

I also have a RHS nipple piercing, which sadly migrated. I removed it and am having it repierced in a few months time.

I can’t say that either of them added or subtracted from my sex life in any way.

having my nipples pierced was a bad bad bad experience for me. the sensitivity increased SO much that having anyone or anything touch my nipples was barely tolerable. i had them for over 9 months and they never healed (and this was definitely not my first rodeo, piercing-wise, so it wasn’t anything i was doing wrong). so basically my nipples were constantly semi-hard, sore, crusty and unpleasant. eventually my body started rejecting them so i took them out. i still have scars on my nipples. i think they look super rad, and a lot of people have minimal problems with them, but clearly they were not for me.

on the other hand, i’ve had a vertical clitoral hood piercing for about 11 years now and i still love love love it.

I have my tongue pierced and no guy has ever been able to, ahem, feel it during an intimate moment… I didnt get it done for that reason though, it was just a bit of a rebellion thing when I was younger but I’ve never regretted it.

I had my nipples pierced for about a year, and overall it wasn’t really worth it. Yes, my nipples DID get way more sensitive, but I couldn’t really touch them for 6 months because they were healing. A few months after healing, one of them got caught on my towel, and while it didn’t tear or anything, it had to re-heal entirely. I took an 8 hour flight to Europe, and once I realized that wounds swell and throb terribly after a few hours on the plane, I had to take them out because there was no way I was going to survive the entire trip.

The good thing is, even after I took the jewelry out, the sensitivity is still there! So it wasn’t entirely bad. Just not really worth all the healing time, either.
