Spanx is the big one---take a look at their website and see what styles you like. I've seen it for sale at places like TJ Maxx, but they also have it at department stores.
The hideous Dr 90210, Dr Rey, has a line of them at Sears. And while I hate him, I love sales and thats where I got mine.
I just call them Spanx. Its synonymous with what it is, like Kleenex to tissues. People know what Spanx are generally, while "My Dr. Rey Shapewear" sounds complicated, somewhat medical and definitely lame.
Oh yeah, I do not like him either! So fake with the tan and his cut off shirts blllah! But if his stuff works then I'll try that out! Thanks
I would get some Spanx shorts (for the butt/hips area) and a long line bra/corset (for the waist area). A long line bra, even on a skinny chick, gives a great hourglass silouette through the middle.
Spanx work great and I know Lane Bryant sells them. As for Dr. Rey... he's a nightmare but sells his line on HSN and they often has sales.
I bought some cheapie ones at Kohl's. They do stretch out after awhile so I tend to replace mine. I just wore super high-waisted thigh ones. MOstly b/c it kept my thighs from CHAFING the whole night. Genius. No sweaty legs for me!
Yeah I want to be comfortable, too! Thanks I mainly need it for my tummy area, the butt and thighs are ok.

Hahaha Ok I do not know what they are actually called, but I'm going to start trying on dresses next month and although I am slim/average there are still areas I want to look better on my body. So, I want to buy something that will help me look perfect in my dress like a slip or waist clincher? Ive never baught one before so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
Anyway, any one have recommednations on shape wear that really works to wear under their wedding dress?
Thanx!
