@nikstayo:  Its a common scam wherever anything is sold on the net. Never ship or send anything without getting payment through Paypal. Do not accept  payment in whatever format, that is greater than the list price of the article. They will tell you the extra is for shipping. By the time the cheque, paypal etc fails to clear, you will already have shipped the item. Never send anyone a chequefor overpayment. When their payment bounces, you will be out the òverpayment.

Hey there! So sorry to hear about your frustrations selling your dress. Unfortunately, any kind of online ad — whether through Weddingbee, Craigslist, or other similar sites — runs the risk of receiving disingenuous or spammy responses. We definitely advise anyone buying or selling through the Classifieds to use discretion when interacting with potential buyers/sellers. We also encourage the use of third party sites such as PayPal for payment, which adds an extra layer of security to any transactions that take place.

If there’s a specific spammer you’d like to report, you can do so in the Support section of our site. It’s helpful to have a WB username though.
