I think they're typically called Boleros, and you can find some FRICKIN' CUTE ones on Etsy. check out Mrs. Cheese's recaps for some inspiration, but yeah, I would check Etsy before going to DB. Good luck!
I think you can call them a bolero definitely. Shrug works too. Etsy has some gorgeous ones-- lace and such. But if you need it quick maybe david's is better.. they have a couple styles in store. Maybe check a higher end dept. store that has formal wear?? GOOD LUCK!
I have seen so many brides in them looking super cute. I would check online; I've heard of multiple success stories from etsy. I think they are mostly called boleros, but some wedding dresses are listed "with jacket" it seems. I guess it depends on the company.
Yep, they are boleros, and there are LOTS of adorable ones on Etsy. Check out this seller:
davids bridal doesnt have anything. I am just going to go to a seamstress and have mine custom made
Thats so weird because someone told me that when they went to DB there were a ton. I guess I should call the DB in my area and see?
Just saw this one on sale online at Bebe (I know, random site to find wedding stuff). It's totally cute though! And you can wear it AFTER the wedding too!

Ok guys... my wedding is in March and I am thinking I need to get a little bolero jacket thingie. You know like a little formal shrug. WHAT ARE THEY CALLED!??!
Anyone have any they liked? I'm nervous about it matching the dress. I'm also nervous about ordering online! I might stop in David's Bridal but they had like, 2 on their website.
Any suggestions?
