I will definitely be investing in a bolero, it'l probaly be a long sleeved one for me, as its my arms that im not too keen on!!!
i'm wearing an actual corset, so i need to find or make one with long sleeves, but that literally just covers the tops of my shoulders, dont want it obscuring the corset-y goodness!!!
Good luck in your search!!!
im wearing a bolero for my may wedding...and i love those things!!!!...well can you put a pic of your gown? if it is all taffetta, then i would go with lace....lace is always the way to go... are u looking for 3/4, long or short sleeves??? oops..probably short, i didnt notice you are getting married in july!
i will definitely go with a a lace bolero but i dont know how i would feel with v neck with straps...mmm, if the straps are tiny id say go for it, but if they are pretty tick, mmmm i dont know..did you think about adding sleeves to your dress instead?
good luck!
i also have a vneck gown and I will be wearing a bolero! so dont worry about it! I also think with your gown that simple with texture is best?
I dont know what your price range is but i bought my bolero on etsy from bonzie and I LOVE IT
I agree with bimba, that the lace bolero is the best way to go.
I've also seen in some places that they make organza or chiffon boleros, that might work if you can't find a lace one.
A picture of my dress is added, it is both the 1st and 2nd attachment, because I added it the first time and saw that it came out too small...
For those that saw my dress, you would still say something see-through (ex lace, organza, chiffon) is the way to go? Something like this? I'll add a link to the pic below...
YES! i think probably you should go with something in organza or chiffon, more shrug type than bolero
Thank you for the advice! Does anyone know of any other examples of sheer boleros? I keep looking but am having trouble finding one that does not cover too much of the front. I'd prefer something that covers the back and shoulders (sleeves), but does not cover much of the front portion of the dress...

Hi everyone! I bought my wedding dress, it is a v-neck with straps, but no sleeves. I need a bolero, basically to cover my arms, but I still want the front of the dress to show and not be too covered up. I found a bolero that I think might work style-wise, but it is satin, and my dress is taffeta. My dress will be white, though the one pictured is off-white in color. I appreciate any help! Thank you.
Also, I know boleros are usually worn with a strapless gown, not v-neck cuts. But I've seen several v-neck gowns worn with boleros, so I know it will "go", I just need suggestions for the particular bolero.
