YES! I love them!! They are part of the reason that I want a winter wedding!!
They're pretty amazing, especially if you're having a church ceremony where you want to be a little more demure. Then, for the reception, sass things up by taking it off.
Sadly, I think my dress has too much going on for one, but yes, they're dreamy!
I love, love, love boleros! If you can wear one you totally should! If you are looking for something unique Etsy has some great options.
NishP27 -- Love, love, love BOLEROS. Unique, romantic, mysterious -- sensational! Plus, on my opinion, they make the bustline and torso pop under the gown. Very sexy in fact. I'm definitely wearing one over my strapless (I have two gowns -- one Maggie on the way and another one who's label I'm not sure of -- seems to be a cross between a Sophia Tolli and an Anne Barge). Love all! My Maggie I've ordered with a bolero in the same satin, diamond white. The Anne-Barge look alike, the seamstress will make me a beaded satin bolero out of the long train!
But, I love the first bolero you have up. How can I order/buy this one? Help -- I have found them so very hard to find???
I really wanted a strapless dress but felt a little self conscious so i got a bolero and i think i am going to be really happy with it.
I love them! I wore mine for the ceremony and thought it gave a really formal look to my dress!
I agree bees!!! lovely, I wish I could wear one being that I'm having a church wedding @ DIORABLE, but I don't think my dress will look right with a bolero, well the dress that I think I'm going to get. tell me what you think about me getting a bolero with this dress?
I've got a Bonzie bolero from etsy-- definitely check them out!
I agree that jackets and boleros are great! I'll probably look for one once I choose my dress, especially since it will be in a church and I'll be more comfortable with my shoulders covered (I usually don't have them bare, so it'd be awkward and I'd probably also get cold).
I also just looked at this post, and really like one of the dresses. Its the 4th photo down on my screen, and the pic is called "425_2007front_wshawl.jpg" Any chance that anyone knows what this dress is?
I'm looking for the boleros on anjolique.com and I don't see them. Am I retarded? Halp
OMG!!! YES YES AND YEEEESSSSSS to BOLERO!!!! im wearing one for my spring wedding! mine is lace over a lace gown very ROMANTIC!!!
your dress is glamorous! it doesnt look like a lot of lace so i would go with a cap short sleeve satin bolero with a high ruffle collar

hey Anjolique has changed their website, and now I don't see any of the pics that are above, I guess the best thing to is get the store info that sells that band and go there, I know they sell the boleros separate.
I LOVE boleros!! I wore one with my dress after the ceremony. It was covered in pearls and gave the dress a whole different look.
That is beautiful missomally!!!! wow! here's a pic of my dress, trying to find one that will accent my dress...the dress as a pearl and sequin lace applique on top and very bottom, swarvoski crystals down the back...I'ml ooking to find a nice one!
I'm doing one! I'm getting married in late October and I get cold easily, so I needed one.
Mine is going to be more like these:

I have a longer jacket over my dress with a sash over the jacket. As a plus sized girl, I'm more comfortable with my arms a little covered. It was also a great way to save money. Since I didn't want a long train, I went with a simple white bridesmaids dress and had a friend make the jacket and sash for me. The lace was a little pricey, but in the end, I'm only spending about $300 including alterations.
This was the look I was going for and got pretty close!
nice choice...zippy!!! I like it!
amac, I love the whole look with the sash, lace and everything, smart bee!!!!!
I absolutely love them. I haven't started my dress search but i intend on getting a fairly simple dress and then vamp it up with a bolero.

well in my looking for a dress, I've notice that these boleros are a great accessory to the wedding gown, especially if the ress is simple, the little jacket takes it to another level...anyone out there agreee?
