I don't think I could do it. I have had too many surgeries for my own problems and don't want to put myself through another. It's not as simple as giving blood, it is a surgery so that's something to consider.

The only 'surgeries' I've ever had were tonsils, and wisdom teeth haha. I think this would be different, but my mother had cancer, and going through that was so difficult, I can't imagine if her fate lied with whether or not someone out there was able to match.
The one thing I know about Canada is that if you're a match, you can still say no, so I think I'll talk to FI about it...

Are there any registered Bone Marrow Donors out there? I don't know how it works in the States, but I wanted to know if anyone else is out there, and what your thoughts are on it.
Dumb reason, but I'm watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and it just hit me how this could save someones life. I'm seriously considering it, because having my blood taken scares the crap out of me, but if they put me under I think I could be okay...
