It seems as though using a bonfire setting for receptions or rehearsal dinners are the new thing but how do you decorate the tables? I guess flowers are the normal wedding centerpiece but for a bonfire I am sure many other centerpieces that would look good too. I need some inspiration. Bees-how will you decorate your bonfire tables? Please send me some pics of what you will do or what you have done. Thanks!

I would really say that maon jar candle holders would be a great touch. You could use different sizes and create a center piece with those. Just put some sand or other material in the bottom along with a pretty candle, that way when your guests are sitting around the table at night, they will have some light. Also, a friend of mine had a bonfire after the reception and they used a few of those raised fire pits. It was really neat because there was groups around each fire so it was fun to mingle and talk witht he different groups.

I think a bonfire reception sounds wonderful.
I think you’ll definitely want some light on the tables, since it’ll spread the light of the bonfire thematically but also take care of balancing the light in the reception area literally. I don’t think you have to go totally rustic or anything, but you can bring woodsy elements onto the tables.
I searched “woodsy centerpieces” and found these:
And I have to share this, too, that showed up, ’cause I think it’s adorable:

Thank you. I do like the idea of having candles to add light. I should have mentioned its a destination wedding so bonfire will be on the beach. Woodsy theme still matches though and I really like those pics! Thanks bees!

Use pine cones, moss, and some amazing natural elements.
