Did you try Kayak?  That’s where I’ve always found the best flight prices.  Also, sometimes leaving at a different time of day will help.

Where are you going from-to? And when?

I almost always book through Expedia! I research the prices there… and then head to the airlines website to compare. I find the cheapest flights & best schedules through expedia 🙂 The only downside is that they do not include smaller airlines.

My gfs and I went to Vegas in January for a girls weekend & through expedia the flight + 3 nights accommodation was under $450 (leaving from Seattle, WA), which is a good deal. However, I knew I could find something cheaper so I checked out Allegiant Air (leaving from Bellingham, WA). It cost us each $302 for the same hotel & from a closer, smaller airport!

It takes some time to research, but the deals are definitely out there!
