If you do a cash bar make sure EVERY guest knows about it.  I recently went to a wedding that had free cocktail hour beverages and cash bar after that, which was fine, but none of us knew about it.  Thankfully I brought money just in case. 

 

Another way you could cut alcohol cost is just to nix the champagne all together.  Most people don’t even like champagne, and they can toast with whatever is in their glass.

I just made my bouquet and spent a total of $39 (flowers from IKEA too!).  Plus I can keep it forever.  I MAY make the BMs flowers, but I’m leaning toward real.  Depending on how much DIY I get done I may make the boutonnière s as well.  So I would say making flowers would help cut costs.  I’ve also heard Costco has a great flower selection for cheap.
