I am on the hunt for pale teal/turquoise bridesmaid dresses, but I feel like all the dresses I find are boring! I feel like all of the dresses I’m finding have the same general look and don’t have anything special to them. I want something with just a little touch of lace or bling or something fun. Any suggestions on where I can find this?? I am thinking I may need to go to a store that carries both bridal and prom to find something a little different. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I suggest looking at normal stores you would buy a dress to wear to a wedding. Labelng something as bridesmaid usually means it’ll have a certain look/style as well as a price tag to go with it.

@tiff4ny03: Are you seeing all these dresses in person or just online? Online pics doesn’t really give you the true vision like seeing them in person does. I would have never picked this dress if I hadn’t seen it in person first. I love the bling lining the sweetheart top:
Also this dress is nice at the bottom but not sure if the are figure flattering for all your girls:
Do you want long or short dresses?

@lindseyl06: I got my dress this weekend and then was looking through the bridesmaid dresses at the store and I just feel like they all start looking the same.. very plain! I did find about 3 that had a little something on them so I may go back and have my MOH try them on. I will def check out David’s Bridal in person because I know they do have prom style gowns in there, too, and I like those 2 that you sent. Thanks for your thoughts 🙂

I let my girls choose their dresses and they chose a couple of different styles from the Alfred Angelo Modern Vintage collection. They look great and different than any other BM dresses I’ve seen. Take a look at the store or authorized retailer if you have one nearby. I think they look much prettier in person than online.

These are some dresses from JCPenney. You can also try etsy.com or modcloth.com. I know I was stressed for months when BM dress shopping. Try to narrow down the length and fabric first. If it gets TOO stressful for you, you can take step back from it and work on something else. Try thinking of the honeymoon, that was a stress reliever!
