I've never heard of Boscobel, so I can't help there. I only saw Overlook Lodge at Bear Mountain, which had pretty views from the windows, but not too much variety at that spot. It also is quite rustic on the grounds - pretty, but campsite-y, so I can see your concern about dirt on the hem.

Has anyone taken wedding photos at either Boscobel or Bear Mountain and would like to recommend one or say which they think is better?
Boscobel seems very pretty but I've never been there and am not sure how big it is, and how much variety there is for photos there. Bear Mountain has variety, but I'm not sure how difficult it will be to keep my bottom of my dress from getting dirty.
Many thanks to all the Hudson Valley brides!!! :) Getting married this saturday 9/24, and am kinda trying to figure this out in a hurry!!
