I haven't had them in ages, but I used to LOVE them! I say go for it, if you like them!
I'm also planning to have a candy buffet. I say if you like them and they go with your wedding colors...then go for it!
Sure! Why not? There really aren't any BAD choices when it comes to a Candy Buffet. As long as there are scoops or tongs to use-it's ALL good!
OMG, one of my favorites. I say go for it. It is one of those candies that people never buy, and lots of folks loved from when they were kids. I think it would be fun to have them there.
I would say yes, if you love them. We were going to go with them for ours, but we chose burnt peanuts instead. They were a big hit. When choosing items for your candy bar, I suggest choosing only things that you know that you love; just in case you have some left over.
Go for it! I personally don't know of that many people that like them, though, so I might not get as much of the BBB as other candies. If you like them, they should definitely have a place in the lineup! :)
I L-O-V-E-D Boston Bakes beans when I was younger. And it is a buffet, if people don't like them don't have to them. You can't go wrong with them!
Thanks, bees! I'm thinking if I do, it will definitely the BBBs will be in one of the smaller containers. I could see some of our over-60 guests liking them. FH didn't know that these were candies so he thought I actually wanted to have a hot pot of legumes at the candy buffet.
We just bought some Boston Baked Beans for our favors too. We are doing boxes of movie theater candy purchased from Dollar Tree. They're not my favorite candy, but I figured someone would like them! Like you, we're doing multiple kinds and will buy more of the more popular candy.
@Birdie Love: to be honest, from the title of your post I thought you were proposing the legumes too! I initially thought you might be trying to find a place to include your FI's favorite food.
I am happy to learn that they are a candy.
I love them and I know a lot of other people who do also. I bet if other people tried them, they would like them too.
??? I've never heard of those as candies, and i've lived in Boston for almost 7 years...yikes! I'd definitely try them if they were there, though.
(I just googled them, and they are made in Canada, HAHAHAHAHA)
@crayfish: i live in Canada and have never heard of them either. At first I thought she literally meant beans.
