The first place that comes to mind is the Garment District: http://www.garment-district.com

You might also try the Cambridge Antique Market: http://www.marketantique.com/cambridg.htm and the SoWa market in Boston, but those would both have to be done today!

I’m getting married in the Boston area but haven’t lived there in a few years, so I’m sure other bees will have more ideas.

I would say the garment district as well. They have a lot of wonderful things. Also try Second time around on Newbury and Boylston. You’d be surprised at the some of the finds.

Mfrouhar:  I would try Vows bridal outlet in Watertown, you usually need an appointment but if youre just looking for accessories it shouldnt be a problem. Vows is pretty popular in Ma. and amongst other bees on here! Also second time around is cute on Boylston. Not sure about florists or wedding favors, I’m still searching in Boston myself!

Mfrouhar:  That’s too bad about Vows! I also looked there and didn’t find anything that had the art deco influence I was looking for, which is why I ended up going with vintage. So many gorgeous dresses, but definitely for the more modern bride.

Mfrouhar:  I’d love to hear suggestions! I’ll be in Boston next week to do some wedding errands, so that would be great.
